Greetings Blog Followers:
I hope the New Year finds you healthy and adjusting well to the start of the second semester. Here in the Counseling Office, we are busy sending mid-year transcripts to colleges to which our Seniors have applied. We are also gearing-up to meet with Juniors for course scheduling and preliminary college counseling meetings.
With the goal of contributing to thoughtful discussions by sharing resources, strategies, and information, Lusher’s College Counseling Office is launching two new modes of communication through social media, via Facebook and Twitter.
I have created a “Fan Page” on Facebook, dedicated to sharing articles, promoting strategies and resources, and providing up-dates relating to the college selection process, aptly titled Lusher Charter School – College Counseling.
Additionally, I have started a Twitter feed, titled LusherCollegeCounsel with the identifier of @LusherCollege, from which I will post reminders, links to articles, and share other details relating to the college selection process.
I encourage you to “like” us on Facebook, “follow” us on Twitter, and contribute to the conversation in supporting our students through the various steps of the college selection process here at Lusher Charter School.
